The Second-session Forum of Trademark Administrative Enforcement and Judicial Protection will be held in Beijing

According to the news from China Trademark Association (the CTA), the Second-session Forum of Trademark Administrative Enforcement and Judicial Protection will be held in Beijing on 25th April 2017.


To further deepen the linkage effect of administrative enforcement and criminal justice, the implementation of the national intellectual property protection, to strengthen the publicity of World Intellectual Property Day, the Trademark Office of State Administration for Industry and Commerce and the China Trademark Association jointly hold the "Forum on Trademark Administrative Enforcement and Judicial Protection" on the occasion of the World Intellectual Property Day in April. The theme of the forum this year is "Innovation, Protection and Development". 


The forum will invite the national judiciary to propagate the latest judicial situation and policies, and the administrative department to share the new experiences in the protection of intellectual property rights. It will publicize the fruitful cooperation between the administrative department and the judiciary in the protection of intellectual property rights. The forum aims to promote the further development of the linkage between the administrative enforcement and criminal justice, to reinforce the protection of trademark intellectual property rights, to create a better market environment for implementing the trademark strategy and building a nation of power brand.


The forum will also invite the participants including the National Office for Combating the Infringement of Intellectual Property Rights and the Production and Sale of Fake and Inferior Commodities, the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuratorate, the Ministry of Public Security, the General Administration of Customs, the Beijing Intellectual Property Court, the relevant departments of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce; the regulators of local governments, experts and scholars; the representatives of the members of the CTA, etc. The number of the forum participants is expected to be 300.
