SIPO Establishes Online Platform for IPR Protection, Reporting, Complaints

Recently, an online platform, www.12330.gov.cn, was established by the State Intellectual Property Office of the People's Republic of China (SIPO), targeting online intellectual property right (IPR) protection, IPR infringement reporting and complaints.

 

In fact, China has set up 50 Service Centers for IPR Protection to receive IPR reporting and complaint regarding IPR infringement. These Centers also provide consultation on IPR protection to obligees and the public. Besides, the reporter or the complainant may also call the hotline of 12330 to conduct reporting and complaints.

 

Now, with the establishment of this online platform, unified management of online IPR reporting and complaints in China can be realized, which is part of integrative, intelligent and information-based development of Chinese IPR protection, reporting and complaints management. This platform provides multi-services including online IPR infringement reporting and complaints, online complaint responding, online case-handling transfer, online progress feedback and real-time statistical analysis of case information.
